The Lasting Days are a four piece band with an Americana influenced indie-rock feel who are known for wowing audiences with their electrically charged performances. The band bring a fresh sound with their male-female vocal harmonies, distinctive song structures, beautiful melancholic melodies and emotive rock.
The Bristol-based band is composed of songwriter Richard Smith, a vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist who creates unforgettable melodies and riffs on guitar, piano and violin; Sarah Proudfoot, a vocalist and fellow multi-instrumentalist; Pete Beddoes on drums and Richard Riley on bass guitar.
The Lasting Days gained worldwide exposure after their music featured on acclaimed travel show ‘Departures’ which can be streamed on Netflix. Other previous releases include their eponymous debut EP, October looking South, We Simplify, Scylla and numerous label samplers.
